Direct Broadcasting by Satellites: opening a new horizon

The article deals with the ways to develop the DTH television in Russia where the availbale capacity in DBS-band on all satel- lites with the Russian coverage is almost over. The text outlines one satellite design model in the new frequency band (21,4–22,0 GHz).
